Yesterday, we celebrated Teachers’ Day with the theme: “Teachers Who Shape Us.” ❤️
Teachers are more than educators — they guide us, correct us, encourage us, and never give up on us. Every lesson, every reminder, and every word of encouragement helps shape the lives of our little ones. 🌱
One of the most fun moments was when the children were shown only a small part of a teacher’s body — and they could still guess the teacher correctly! 😆 It showed just how well our children know and love their teachers. We also enjoyed games together, including forming different shapes as a team.
A big thank you to all our dedicated teachers for your hard work, patience, and love poured into the children every single day. Your impact goes far beyond the classroom. 💕

🌙✨ Hari Raya Celebration at Tadika Puncak Ledang ✨🌙

Our kindergarten was filled with joy and beautiful colours as we celebrated Hari Raya together two days ago! 💚

Our teachers and children came dressed in lovely traditional Malay costumes, creating a festive and lively atmosphere. The children learned about the meaning of Hari Raya, experienced the culture, and even had the chance to try traditional Malay food and drinks—what a special treat! 😋🍽️

Living in a multicultural country like Malaysia, it is so important for our children to learn about and appreciate one another’s cultures from a young age. Through celebrations like this, we nurture respect, understanding, and unity among our little ones. 🤝❤️

📌 School Clarification on Year One Entry at Age 6

Dear parents,
We would like to clarify the recent announcement by the Ministry of Education regarding 6-year-old children entering Darjah 1 starting from 2027.
🔹 This option is voluntary, not compulsory
🔹 Parents may choose based on their child’s readiness
🔹 Preschool education remains a very important foundation stage
At Tadika Puncak Ledang, we strongly believe that every child develops at a different pace. Readiness for primary school is not determined by age alone, but also by a child’s emotional maturity, social skills, ability to follow routines, confidence, and learning readiness.
In line with the 2026 Preschool Curriculum, our programme focuses on:
Building strong foundational skills
Nurturing character, confidence, and independence
Preparing children holistically, not just academically
For many children, completing the preschool years provides the time and space they need to grow securely and joyfully before moving on to primary school.
We encourage parents to make decisions based on what is best for their child, and we are always happy to discuss your child’s development and readiness together with you.

✨ A Beautiful Start to the New School Year ✨
Last Saturday, we had our Parents Orientation, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents who took time out of your busy schedules to attend. Your presence, support, and trust mean a lot to us as we partner together in your child’s early learning journey. ❤️
Yesterday marked our first day of school, and what a joyful day it was! Our two mascots were there to warmly welcome the children, bringing smiles and excitement as they stepped into school. The children had fun getting to know their teachers and new friends, playing with toys, and taking part in various activities prepared especially for them. 🎈🧸
For some of our new children, there were still a few tears — and that’s perfectly normal. With time, patience, and lots of love, they will be just fine. Thank you, parents, for your understanding and cooperation during this important adjustment period.
Learning to let go is the beginning of helping your child grow strong, confident, and independent. Together, let’s walk this journey hand in hand. 🌱💪
