Description:
Tongkang Pecah Pasar Bagi (morning market). The pasar bagi is setup in Tongkang Pecah every Wednesday morning and it has been here for as long as I can remember. It is always full of people from the town who will stroll down to look for stuffs to buy. The pasar bagi sells various products, ranging from poultries, traditional Malay foods, spices, to other necessities such as clothes, fashions and kitchenwares.

Personally, I find that pasar bagi contributes to the liveliest moment of Tongkang Pecah where people starts to gather , shop and mingle around.

This is the only Chinese primary school in Tongkang Pecah. Most of the kids in town attends this school. It has been in this town for a long time. It had undergone major renovation to cater the increase needs and provides better facilities for the children.

The Heaven Pavilion. This pavilion locates right at the top of the previous temple I have drawn. It is also the highest point in Tongkang Pecah. Its one of my favourite hangout spot whenever I got free. This is a rough sketch using my fountain in black ink on an A4 sketchbook.

Description:
This is another temple in Tongkang Pecah, its located right behind my aunt's house. This temple is younger and newer as compared to the previous temple I have drawn. However, I love its architectural design and decorations which made this building really stand out and portray a historical impression to me. One thing that I love about this temple is that its top floor is one of the highest point in the small town. I love the feeling while enjoying the scenery of the whole town from there.

Tongkang Pecah Taoist Temple. This temple has been in Tongkang Pecah the longest as I remember. I used to visit this temple and looked at all the turtles in therewhen I was small, but sadly they are no longer in there anymore.

My grandma's house in Tongkang Pecah. This place has a very rich historical value along with many of my childhood memories. When my aunt was selling her noodles, I will be playing and exploring around this house. It was also a place for everyone to gather during Chinese New Year. This place always remind me of my grandma and I miss her. In this drawing, both my mum and dad were looking at the fruits of the tree which is planted right in front of the house.

Description:
A traditional cake shop located in Batu Pahat of West Malaysia. This shop occupies one of the store along a stretch of old style shop-houses.

This shop holds a lot of sentimental value for me. When I was a kid, all my birthday cakes were ordered from this place. Their traditional cupcakes with simple yet beautiful cream decoration on top coupled with its good taste were my favorite. I would always bothered my mum to buy me a few whenever we walked pass it. They can be seen in my drawing, located at the top shelve of their glass display case.

After so many years, I was surprised that their style and taste still remain unchanged. After completed this drawing, I had a good reminisce of wonderful childhood memories while enjoying those cupcakes.

This is the Bus Terminal in Batu Pahat Malaysia. This is the arrival as well as the destination point of Batu Pahat for people who travel by bus. There are many bus companies which offers bus trips to other parts of Malaysia such as Johor Bahru, Penang, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, and even Hatyai of Thailand. This place has one of the most busiest traffic in Batu Pahat! I drew it across from a cross junction.

【FOREIGN TRADE BUILDINGS 1955 洋货布疋商公会大厦】

成立于1955年的洋货布疋商公会大厦已經有63年歷史。“布店街”其實名為帆加蘭路（Jalan Penggaram），但因為本地人多數都稱這條街為“布店街”或“客人街”，使這兩個街名遠比其原名更廣為人知。

這條街道兩旁是擁有近百年歷史的二戰前老店屋，其中一家具有多年歷史的金鋪外牆上，更刻有1916年的年份。目前多數店屋仍保留原有面貌，但也有部份店屋則已經過翻新為新式店屋。
當年在這裡開店經營布莊生意者，多數是從中國遠渡到南洋的僑民，本著同是鄉親互相關照之心，一同在這裡開店謀生、落地生根。

70至80年代是“布店街”的全盛時期，當時許多來自峇株巴轄各地的民眾都會湧到這裡的布莊、洋貨店等購物，以選購合意布料回家縫製一件件漂亮的衣裳，或購買生活日常用品。

經過數十年歲月洗禮，如今僅剩下半數布莊及洋貨店仍在營業，其他則已轉為經營其他行業。
這裡的布莊及洋貨店經過兩代甚至是三代人的延續經營，許多仍保留著傳統的經營方式，或已將全盤生意交託於新一代，為傳統生意注入生命作出轉型。
