SOME RESULTS ARE NOT JUST RESULTS. THEY ARE STORIES. ❤️
31%.
That was where this journey began.
A failing mark.
A number that could easily make a student lose confidence…
A number that could make a parent worry…
A number that could make someone believe, “Maybe this subject just isn’t for me.”
But I refused to let 31% become the student’s story.
Because behind every low mark, there is a child who still has potential.
Sometimes, they don’t need to be told that they are weak.
They need someone to believe that they can become stronger.
So we started.
One lesson at a time.
One mistake at a time.
One correction at a time.
One topic at a time.
There were weaknesses to rebuild.
There were concepts to strengthen.
There were countless answers to correct.
There were exam techniques to master.
And most importantly — there was confidence to rebuild.
Then came the day we had been working towards.
IGCSE June 2026.
And the result?
83% — A 🎓✨
31% → 83%.
FAIL → A.
When I saw that result, I didn’t just see an A.
I saw the journey.
I saw the student who once struggled.
I saw every lesson.
Every correction.
Every effort.
Every moment when giving up would have been easier.
And I thought to myself:
THIS is why I teach. ❤️
To my parents, please remember this:
A child’s current result is not necessarily their final potential.
Sometimes, the difference between “my child is struggling” and “my child is thriving” is the right intervention at the right time.
Don’t wait until the examination is around the corner.
Don’t wait for another disappointing result.
Don’t wait until your child loses confidence in themselves.
Start when there is still time to transform the story.
Because I don’t want my students to simply learn Malay.
I want them to walk into the examination hall thinking:
“I CAN DO THIS.”
And walk out knowing:
“I DID IT.”
For me, the greatest achievement isn’t producing an A student.
It is watching a struggling student become an A student.
That transformation will always be one of the most fulfilling parts of being a teacher.
31% was the beginning.
83% is the result.
But the transformation in between…
THAT is the achievement I am most proud of. ❤️
To every parent who entrusts your child’s education to me:
Thank you for believing in me to believe in them.

Because sometimes, a child doesn’t need someone to tell them they can’t.
They simply need someone who refuses to give up on them. ❤️
