Inside Green Gather: this is how the Music Festival is lived.

It lives in the rehearsals.
In the nerves before stepping on stage.
In the moment when the entire school sings together.

It lives in the students who try for the first time.
In those who find their voice through music.
In the ones who discover that there is also a place for them behind the scenes, designing, producing, organizing.

It lives when different ages share the same experience.
When a song connects generations.
When a whole community moves to the same rhythm.

That’s what matters most about the Music Festival:
not just what is performed,
but what is being formed.

Confidence.
Belonging.
Sensitivity.
Collaboration.
Joy.

Because music brings us together.
And when a community learns to come together like this, something deeper is being educated.

Real education is not necessarily about more information.

We all want our children to be truly prepared for the world they’re growing into, not just knowledgeable, but thoughtful, adaptable, and deeply aware.

It’s about shaping how they see, think, and understand the world.

Because when learning has meaning and intention, everything changes.

This is the kind of education that defines who they become.

Think deeply. Act with care.

At Green Gather, this idea lives at the heart of how we learn.

Knowledge matters.
And it becomes more powerful when paired with deep thinking and care for the world around us.

This is the foundation of an education with purpose.

Play-based learning is an educational approach that encourages children to absorb knowledge through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Embracing free play, also known as unstructured play, provides children with the freedom to explore, imagine, and create without rigid rules or guidelines.

In this creative environment, children's imaginations run free as they invent scenarios and stories, such as playing house, pretending to be pirates, or taking on roles like doctors and firefighters. They also engage in activities like constructing with building blocks or various materials to create structures and vehicles.

Another aspect of free play involves investigating the environment, allowing kids to collect rocks, leaves, or insects while gaining insights about the world through their explorations. Additionally, sensory play activities come into play, where children immerse themselves in sensations by playing with materials like sand, water, or sensory bins filled with diverse textures.

One fundamental benefit of play is its capacity to facilitate children's exploration and comprehension of their own emotions and those of others. It fosters empathy and emotional regulation. Moreover, play promotes interactions with peers and siblings across various social scenarios, from sharing toys to resolving conflicts.

These free play activities are essential for a child's cognitive, emotional, and social development. They nurture creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of self-sufficiency, all while children have fun and relish the learning process. Play-based learning proves to be not only effective but also an enjoyable foundation for a lifelong passion for learning and a strong base for intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

Through our learner-centered approach the focus is on every kid -the learner! It's all about making learning an active and engaging experience that is tailored to their unique needs and interests.

Learner-centered systems encourage people to actively participate in our own learning journey. Kids get to explore and discover things on their own, which helps them develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

One of the best parts is that children are encouraged to ask questions and seek answers through inquiry-based learning. It's all about fostering their curiosity and critical thinking skills, empowering them to find solutions and make connections between different concepts.

Gone are the days of feeling like a passive recipient of knowledge. With learner-centered systems, we become an active participant in our own education, which can be really exciting and empowering. It puts the focus on individual strengths and interests, making learning a much more enjoyable and meaningful experience.

So, get ready to dive into the world of active participation, self-discovery, and inquiry-based learning in a learner-centered system. It's all about unlocking your full potential and discovering the joy of learning! 🌟

We are very excited because tomorrow we will have the opportunity to meet the teachers who will be, side by side, guiding and mentoring our children during the upcoming academic year.

Meeting the teachers in person allows students and parents to establish a personal connection with the educators. It creates a sense of familiarity and comfort, which can contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Imagining the moment we reunite brings us so much joy! See you tomorrow! 🙌🏽🍀🌟💚

Our sixth-grade children will return after the summer vacation and become middle school students.

Here some of the most beautiful images from their “Legacy Ceremony”.

“…Our beloved children, you are being raised to be change makers that is crucial for making the world a better place. By identifying problems and taking action, you as change makers will drive progress, inspire others, and leave a legacy of positive impact. Whether on a local or global scale, your efforts will contribute to a more just, equitable, and sustainable future…”

We're proud and excited to see them grow into young adults.

“Kid, you’ll move mountains.”

Nature has a profound impact on human emotions, creativity, and well-being. Ralph Waldo Emerson believed that there was a deep connection and inherent harmony between humans and nature.

Immersing ourselves in natural settings can evoke feelings of serenity, joy, and inspiration. By appreciating and respecting nature, we may find opportunities for personal growth, healing, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

This beautiful quote serves as a reminder to cherish the beauty and majesty of nature as it reflects the colors of our spirits and, in turn, nourishes our souls.
