Happy National Son’s Day! God has blessed our family with TWO amazing men who loved Jesus, are hilarious, loyal, have strong convictions, and loves their sister! We love you, .linzay and . You both bring so much joy and laughter to our family!

Happy National Daughter’s Day!! God knew we needed her in our family! Karis has a heart of gold and is a leader and a connector… always introducing friends to other friends! She is bold at inviting friends to church and just loves people. Plus, she wins for best smile! We love you our lil punkin! Our family would not be the same without you!!

First time to Cancun and not only are the beaches gorgeous, but I got to live out my dolphin dreams! Only a few weeks until school starts so I’m trying to soak up what’s left of summer. When do your kiddos start back up at school?

Is tomorrow the first day of school for your kids? We’ve been back in school for 2 weeks now. I remember when all the schools used to begin after Labor Day. Times have changed. I love documenting my kid’s first day. I love seeing how their interests change and I can see the change in their face every year 😭. Our first day pictures allow me to freeze time for a moment and when I look back, I love remembering what my kids wore and how they looked on their first day of school. HERE WE GO AGAIN // tbh - I am not ready for summer to end. But no matter what I want, it will come to an end and school will start and our days will be busy again. I use my back to school signs every year to document changes in my kiddos. It’s my top seller every year. I guess others love to document their kids as well. ❤️❤️ This one is from a few years ago, but we are camping trying to lick up every bit of summer and this pic will do until I get my current ones printed. What an honor and privilege to be able to share about Innovations Learning Academy and my heart for homeschooling at my church this weekend . My heart is in educating children, however that may look like for you… wherever you’ve been led to do it. Seriously humbled to share the stage with the leaders of these amazing schools.

This crazy kid has been working up his tolerance for the . I can’t believe that he did it! He did not drink any milk to help him endure the heat, but did have a massive stomach ache after. I have a feeling the exodus of the one chip challenge will be just as painful. 🤣 Check out my reels for the video.

I’ve been celebrating Halloween all year. Nothin’ different here folks.

Last night I got to celebrate a sweet friend’s bday and then this morning I read Taleah Murray] ‘s post and was reminded how we all became friends 20 something years ago.

When I became a Christian, I needed community. I was desperate to grow my faith but wanted people to walk alongside of me. I was also kinda lonely. Greg and I were dating when he was an intern at our church. I think people just assumed that I had lots of friends because Greg knew everyone. Many times when Greg would go away on guys’ trips, he would encourage me to call my friends to go hang out. I had no one to call. I felt so lonely. But everyone thought I had a lot of friends and was so busy. “Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you” was the verse that prompted me to start a bible study. Now I needed the people. Who would I ask? I prayed and God very clearly put , Taleah Murray], and my other sweet friend Breanne on my heart. I felt doubtful that they would want to join in a bible study with me because they probably had “so many other friends”. They were beautiful and friendly and everyone loved them. As I prayed, God continued to put their names on my heart.

Shortly after that, I asked if they would be interested in being in a small bible study with me and they were excited. The truth is that they also had many people they knew, but felt lonely at times. People thought they had so many close friends because they were beautiful inside and out, pretty well known at our church, and just awesome (it was a bit intimidating) … but at the end of the day, they also craved that a community that would sharpen them. Our weekly bible study went on for a few years.

They became my people.

We laughed together, cried together, went through break ups together, experienced losses together, got married and pregnant around the same time. Then God moved them away from me to expand His kingdom. I seriously cried for like a year. But I knew that the God who brought them into my life at a time that I needed them most was the same God who would care for my heart during this time.

and he did.
