Why is EVERYTHING deemed worship to Christians? Crystals on an altar are not being worshipped. Honoring one’s ancestors is not worship. Public service announcement.

There are no angels in the Bible (SAVE THIS) here’s why: 3 words are used in Hebrew that are translated into angels in our modern English Bibles: malak (or plural: malachim) means a messenger and appear as regular men in the Bible.

Seraphs (plural: seraphim) is a burning one, a serpent. These are the creatures the Bible says Yahweh sent to bite his own people in the wilderness, many of whom died. (Read the book God’s Monsters by Dr. Esther Hamori)

Cherub (plural cherubim) are composite monsters with multiple heads (yikes) who serve as threshold guardians, like a gargoyle on the top on a building.

All of these were translated into ‘angelos’ in Greek and ‘angel’ in English.

Early Christian artistic depictions of angels were humans with no wings (Roman catacombs)

Much later, halos and wings developed in art to depict beings who brought messages from the gods, like the Greek gods Nike and Hermes, whose sandals bear wings.

This information is not meant to deny anyone’s experience with angels. Personally, I’ve had experiences with multiple entities on the other side of the veil.

As you deconstruct from religious beliefs, dogma and doctrine that do not align with your evolution as a Magickal being, people you love may protest. What if you didn’t leave, or backslide? What if you graduated?

NEW SERIES: Your favorite Bible characters were scoundrels… this is Part 1 on the most often mentioned human character in the entire Bible: King David 🎯 though he is not directly credited with any of these events, they ALL benefited him. Did the Bible writers know David was a scoundrel and took it upon themselves to re-make his character? And yes, I’m well aware of the love relationship between David & Jonathan, yet the Bible reveals that after his death, David becomes king. Share your thoughts in the comments: respectfully please 👍🏽

Unless you’re from the land of Canaan and/or Galilee, the Bible wasn’t written for you 🎯 the church demonized all other cultural stories. But what if you didn’t deny the cultural myths of your own people, because the church labeled them demonic? Whether you hail from the motherland or from Europe or from South America or any other locale, your own cultural stories live in your blood and bones. Honor them. Join us for an initiation into the Magick and mythology of ancient Egypt aka Kemet. Link in bio.
