This green fleet rockstar has his first Opti regatta this weekend, and I had the pleasure of working with him this past week! In only 2.5 hours he improved so much and I can’t wait to hear how this weekend goes. 🤞🏼 Good luck dude! You’re gonna do great! ⛵️

First few days in the Bahamas has been awesome! USODA’s Development Team is here in full force with 21 sailors, 4 coaches, and several rockstar support parents to represent the USA at the 2022 Bahama Nationals. Between dodging some storms we have already had some great training on the water and a LOT of fun. Looking forward to more of both and a fabulous event here at for !!

I was scrolling through my phone today and came across this photo from the 2022 Optimist Team Trials with one of my former sailors. This photo is one of the only photos from being in NY that week. It’s so great to watch your athletes grow up and continue to have such a passion and love for the sport that you taught them. There is no other feeling quite like helping young sailors further develop their natural persistence, determination, discipline, dedication, resiliency, work ethic, heart, leadership skills, connection with, and respect for others, not only in competition but in life. This sailor is a rockstar who continues to set goals and reach to achieve them! Miss you girlie!

Summer camp is in full force all over the country.
