Perhaps the last bouquet of the year from my greenhouse. Got down to 17° last night, and even the calendula is unhappy about it. Calendula petals are the secret ingredient in my potters balm as they are known to cure all types of skin ailments.

So much fun being shown around Hawaii by our baby who’s now 18 years old and on a big field trip of his own! Cruz is an adrenaline ju**ie, and highlights thus far have included climbing up waterfalls, jumping off cliffs, snorkeling with sea turtles, swimming across rivers, summiting a volcano, exploring tunnels, catching tree frogs, learning (more than we would like) about the Hawaiian legal system, and of course, exploring the many ways to enjoy spam. **ie .
