The MEI community gathered to bid a warm goodbye to Dr. Shelley. 🫂

This final meeting brought together students and faculty authorities to reflect on her remarkable visit and share parting insights.

Hosting her was a true privilege, and we deeply appreciate the scholarly connections and fresh perspectives she shared with our academic community.

This semester, the MEI community has been hard at work refining the art of scholarly communication.

We’ve had the privilege of hosting Dr Shelley Lynn Hawthorne Smith for a series of intensive workshops focused on academic writing and rhetoric. These sessions have challenged our students to produce more detailed, more impactful research.

We thank Dr Hawthorne Smith for her sharp insight and for pushing our academic standards to a global level.

The MEI celebrates the contributions of its researchers at the III International Congress of Research and Teaching in Modern Languages (CIIDLEM UNACH) hosted by the Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas.

We recognize the work of María José Martínez Rodríguez, Eitzel del Rocío Hernández Ortiz, and Irina De Aquino Sánchez on Artificial Intelligence in EFL, alongside the study on digital literacy and professional development by Oscar Ivan Flores Mendoza, Hanniel Téllez Rivas, and Daniel Muñoz Serrano.

These interventions consolidate the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla - BUAP as a leader in research and educational innovation within the global language teaching community.
