Motherhood can feel impossible when you're carrying the weight of everything.

Many of us are trying to parent calmly and patiently to create a strong bonds with our children in these important early years. But often times we are running on empty, juggling too much, and living in systems that were never designed to support modern families.

Yes, we need bigger cultural and systemic changes. But there are things we can do right now.

✨Small shifts in how we support our nervous system.
✨Simple rhythms that reduce the mental load.
✨Ways of caring for ourselves that make it easier to respond rather than react.

That's exactly why I created the RESET Method. A practical starting point for mothers who are tired of feeling overwhelmed and want to find a steadier way through the demands of everyday life.

It's not easy to keep your cool when you're little one is on fire 🔥.

These moments can trigger your own big feelings.

As you build more emotional capacity you will be more able to co-regulate with them and hold these moments better.

AND they get to learn from you how to hold these big emotions. ❤️

This is what means to grow and learn together with our children as we move through matrescence.

Comment RESET to get the link to my masterclass to learn how to do this.

I understand where this advice comes from… the childhood years are short and won’t be coming back.

But when a mum is dysregulated and holding so much with little support this is not helpful and actually can make her feel more guilty. It’s ignoring how hard presence becomes when someone is mentally and emotionally overloaded.

Instead, let’s focus on making her feel more supported internally and externally. Because when she does, motherhood starts to feel different.
More connected. More steady. More spacious and more enjoyable.

That’s the heart behind the RESET Method. And inside my free masterclass, I’ll be teaching the framework I created to help mothers break the cycle of overwhelm, reactivity, and guilt: ✨ RESET Method - Breaking the Snap & Guilt Cycle

Maternal mental health matters long after the newborn phase.

Long after the six-week check-up, after the maternity leave ends…
Long after everyone assumes you’ve “settled into motherhood”.

Because many mothers are still carrying too much.

Matrescence is not a single event.
It is an ongoing psychological, emotional, relational and identity transition.

And transitions need support.

Support should not expire after postpartum.

Because mothers are still becoming, still carrying, still needing care years into motherhood and they deserve places where they do not have to hold it all alone.

Maternal mental health is a long-term wellbeing work, not a short postpartum window.

So, if you're not in postpartum and it all feels like to too much right now, you are not alone. And there is nothing wrong in asking for help 💜

I tried EVERYTHING, and in the end, I ended up yelling at her. I took her out of the car and carried her home crying.

🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸

One day, when my daughter was three years old, after a long day, she refused to get out of the car.

I tried EVERTHING, and in the end, I ended up yelling at her. I took her out of the car and carried her home crying.

Afterwards, I sat on the sofa crying, replaying the moment in my head and feeling terrible about myself.

"What kind of mum loses it over something like this?"

The answer was very simple: a tired, overwhelmed, and dysregulated mum. 😢

At that time, I was sure that I was the problem. But I wasn't.

And if you're sitting somewhere right now replaying a moment like this in your head... you're not the problem either.

That's why the RESET method, in addition to working on emotional regulation techniques, focuses on creating a system that also supports you and your needs.

So you don't get to that point in the first place...
