Presentamos a Coach Leondre Crosby, quien formará parte del staff de REDS Colegio de Chihuahua durante la Temporada 2026, aportando su conocimiento y pasión como Coordinador Defensivo de la Categoría Infantiles.
🏈 How did your football journey begin?
5 years old big helmet, shoulder pads and big glasses chasing a ball .. the same game has allowed me to see the world and put food on my plate so the beautiful game of football has been good to me.
❤️ What does REDS mean to you?
Love the kids to death and the organization.. I wish I could suite up and play with them as well sometimes 🤣.. I love that im able to be what my coaches still are and have been for me
💪 What is the most important lesson you want to teach your players?
There’s a lot of people that wish they could play another down, make another tackle or score another touchdown.. don’t come out here and disrespect the game. Go 100 All the time on and off the field
🎯 What do you enjoy most about being a coach?
I enjoy joking with them .. i think we are all bigs kids at heart.
🏈 ¿Cómo comenzó tu historia en el fútbol americano?
A los 5 años, con un casco enorme, hombreras y unos lentes grandes, persiguiendo un balón. Ese mismo deporte me ha permitido conocer el mundo y poner comida en mi mesa. El hermoso juego del fútbol americano ha sido muy bueno conmigo.
❤️ ¿Qué significa REDS para ti?
Quiero muchísimo a los niños y a toda la organización. A veces hasta desearía poder ponerme el uniforme y jugar con ellos. 🤣 Me encanta poder ser para ellos lo que mis coaches fueron y siguen siendo para mí.
💪 ¿Qué es lo más importante que quieres enseñarles a tus jugadores?
Hay muchas personas que desearían poder jugar una jugada más, hacer un tackle más o anotar otro touchdown. No le falten al respeto a este deporte. Den el 100% en todo momento, dentro y fuera del campo.
🎯 ¿Qué disfrutas más de ser coach?
Disfruto mucho bromear con ellos. Creo que, en el fondo, todos seguimos siendo niños grandes
