The jaw is one of the most underrated areas that we work on when it comes to releasing tension and emotions from the body.
Every time we don’t express our truth, it gets trapped in this area.
Every time we get angry, we tighten.
By simply applying a little bit of pressure in this area, I consistently get emotional releases from people.
And it still fascinates me every time.
Sometimes people release anger.
Sometimes people release sadness.
And sometimes people release fear.
The noises, the type of crying, and also the energy emitted during the release usually guide us to what’s happening

If you are dealing with shoulder pain, chest tightness, or pain in your arms and fingers...
This might be one of the weirdest fascia releases but it feels amazing.
Especially since we use phones and laptops while sitting in chairs which causes the shoulders to roll forward and the fascia to tighten in this area.
To do this:
- Take your right hand and grab/pin the skin under your left armpit
- Lift your left arm up, and move it around in different angles
- While you continue to hold the skin down under
- Move around and breathe
- Feel the stretch in the armpit area
- Notice the shift in tension
- Repeat on the other side

Your body holds tension and your mind tries to forget it. This movement releases it.
When I pull the tongue, it releases fascia through the tongue, neck, spine, and all the way down to the pelvic floor.
Every emotion you held back, every truth you swallowed, all of it gets released.
Watch what happens here. The tongue is pulled and then silence.
The body goes quiet and then the emotion rises.
Not forced or dramatic. Just what has been held finally finding its way out.
Something that has been unexpressed for a long time.

The jaw holds a lot. Every time we get angry, don't express ourselves, or protect from impact, the jaw tightens.
When the jaw is tight, the entire body tightens from head to toe.
What's interesting is how differently people respond to this release.
Most people have intense emotional reactions.
Others, like this, go completely still. Almost like the body finally has permission to stop fighting.
Whether the response is tears or complete relaxation, the body is letting go.
Follow to understand what your tight jaw has been telling you!
This is one of my absolute favorite shoulder release techniques.
If you are dealing with tight shoulders, tight fascia on the side of your hip under your ribcage, under your arm, and throughout your arm this releases all that tension in seconds.
This feel super good especially after you've been sitting in a chair working on your computer or laptop.
By twisting the elbow and bringing it above the head we torque the bone which forces the fascia connected to it to unwind.
To do this
- Take your left hand put it on your left trap
- Take your right hand and twist the elbow outward
- Keep twisting... bring the elbow above your head
- Lean to the right, look to the left
- Breathe
- repeat on the other side

Every time we hold back anger, sadness, or grief, it gets caught in our mouth, jaw, and neck.
Over time, it builds.
When I work inside the jaw, it unwinds tension that has been sitting there for years.
Almost everyone I do this with has an emotional release.
Men, women, it doesn't matter. The jaw holds everything.
When it's tight, the entire body tightens from head to toe.
What we hold today will come back tomorrow. The body doesn't forget.
Are you someone who carries tension in your jaw, neck, or throat and wants to finally feel it release? Follow to learn how your fascia has been holding on to your trauma & tension.
If you are dealing with tension in your traps, shoulders, neck, hands, wrists or fingers it could be a fascia problem.
The muscles, bones and nerves all run through the fascia.
When your fascia is tight, this restricts the flow of everything else.
Your muscles don't "change length", they become restricted through c*lcified fascia.
This quick fascia release will help reduce tension in the fascia to help reset the muscles and bones and release tension.
If you want the full class to reduce tension in the fingers, hands, shoulders and arms comment flow3 and I will send it to you :)
Fascia is one of the most misunderstood and under-researched organ.
Partly because there is no money in it.
But, a huge part of this misunderstanding is we can't even grasp the intelligence of water.
We continue to try and understand how water behaves, how it holds memory and how it communicates.
We have researchers finding new phases of water that isn't being taught in mainstream.
Water doesn't just take on liquid, gas or solid (ice), it has a fourth phase.
So if we can barely undertsand water, how can we understand the water inside our bodies?
We are 70% water yet we have no idea how it truly behaves.
After years of research and working with the body, I have theorized that fascia is an intelligent organ primarily made of water that lives in a gel-like state.
It holds memory, conducts electricity, and can be soft and fluid and hard and sticky in an instant; all depending on hydration, emotions, chemicals, and movement.
When we don't care for our fascia all systems become impacted. Our muscles, bones, and organs all float inside the fascia.
It's time for us to start exploring deeper into this magical organ...
I believe it is the future of movement medicine.

The tongue holds more trauma than your shoulders do…
What we don't express gets caught in our mouth and tongue.
Every truth we swallowed, every emotion we held back, it sits here.
When I pull the tongue, it doesn't just release the tongue.
It releases fascia through the neck, spine, and all the way down to the pelvic floor.
This is one of the most powerful and emotional fascia releases I know.
Especially for people who have a tongue tie or who have spent years not expressing their truth.
