It’s been a challenging year for the munchkins in places, so when you’re littlest bursts into tears because the elves are leaving, you change the rules, because, 2020.

The kids have been asking me for years to make them a ‘Buddy Breakfast’. I always said no, but this year the elves overrode me. Kiki was disgusted and pushed it away untouched, Fionn tried one bite.

His innocence astounds me. I am so grateful he still believes, and his thought processes around it all amuse me so much.
Maybe he’s just playing me, going a long with it to get the goods. Either way, I’ll miss this.
Starting over.... definitely our anthem of our lives and now a family favorite. Kiki belts it out every time it comes on.

Today’s homeschooling adventures included rescuing this giant silkworm moth from the pool. Daddy-o and the kids let it air out it’s wings before it flew off into the great blue yonder. Such a gorgeous creature.

I am so proud of these two. Despite the challenges of the last year, these two have taken it all in stride. I am so grateful that during lockdown they had each other , they’ve endured a a move across country and then into another country and they are always up for the adventure. I’m not going to say they always get along, but they certainly always have each others’ backs. Read: don’t mess with one of them, the other will be on you like white on rice.
