This Wednesday, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) proudly celebrates Phoebe Malili, a passionate and dedicated fourth-year student making a meaningful impact through service and leadership.

Phoebe is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, driven by a strong commitment to supporting the most vulnerable members of society, particularly children. Her passion reflects the true spirit of compassion, advocacy, and social responsibility.

She also serves as an Ambassador for the Department of Sociology and Population Studies, where she actively participates in outreach programs to secondary schools in hard-to-reach areas. Through these initiatives, she encourages students to remain focused on their studies and pursue their educational aspirations.

This Monday, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) proudly celebrates Vincent Katengeza, a dedicated and inspiring fourth-year student making a remarkable impact within the academic community.

Vincent is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, majoring in Philosophy and Classics. He also serves as an Ambassador for the Department of Languages, Linguistics and Classical Studies, where he actively promotes academic excellence and student engagement.

His academic interests lie at the intersection of philosophy, classics, and language, reflecting a strong passion for critical thinking and intellectual exploration. Vincent is excited to apply his knowledge and skills in meaningful ways that contribute positively to society.
