The social and economic history society through the department is thrilled to announce that in collaboration with Carlo Padglione who works with UNESCO, there will be a webinar titled "UNESCO for Malawi: empowering culture, education and heritage"

the aim of the webinar (and other more activities to come) is to preserve important heritage sites in Malawi and Africa as a whole. the webinar will be hosted on 03 December 2025 via zoom.

A CALL TO PARTICIPATE IN PSYCHOLOGY SOCIETY MINDRISE PROJECT
The unima psychology society is kindly requesting all members from Social and Economic history to take part in the MINDRISE project a su***de prevention awareness initiative encouraging students to express their emotions and personal experiences through art including poetry, music, storytelling, drama, dance or anyform of creativity. check the document for more information.

AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF ENDORSEMENT

The society is thrilled to announce that it has endorsed our current President Miss Dora Gondwe and Mr. Fumbani Payet Mkandawire a third year student for the upcoming Student Representatitve Council elections. Ms. Dora is contesting for the position of vice president and Mr. Fumbani is contesting for the position of Sports Director. The society continues to be delighted by seeing its members showing that they possess great capabilities of leading the student community at UNIMA.

Let us all support them as in doing so the image of the society will also be elevated by such actions. Your vote matters a lot.
