Greetings from Rita's Etiquette dear parents.

I have spent the past 20 years since my first grandchild was born re-learning different parenting methods from the ones I was brought up with. For example, negotiating with a child when throwing a tantrum because it can’t get the toy it wants or when you have told it to switch off the iPad or TV in order to have family time together. This was unheard of during my days!

Of course, there is no one parenting style. However, I do request you dear parents to please practice what you preach, watch your actions including both your verbal and body language: Your children are watching, absorbing like a sponge and keeping in their "memory banks" every single thing that you say or do in front of them as you will soon hear from the few examples we will share with you. Thank you
