FREE ADVICE TO THOSE WHO WISH TO BE AUTHORS: WRITING IS A MINISTRY OF WORD

And I, fellow upcoming writers, when I, Peter, came into this ministry of writing, came not with excellency of writing or of wisdom. I personally depended not on oratorical abilities, nor did I delve into philosophy, which is the rage of most writers today but I, Peter, asked not only from God but also others.

Finally, writing needs us to watch out all things; endure afflictions, do the work of an author and make full proof of your authorship.

So, what it means is that my fellow upcoming authors, writing carries the idea of watching our own life, disciplines of the books we are writng and tools we are using to get the ideas to. Again, we have also to understand that writing carries the idea of not allowing hardship, difficulties or any hedges to hinder us from carrying forth of our purpose of healing the nation through writing and reading.

Writing on its own is indeed a ministry of the word. And hence it is a sharp command given with military snap and curtness. Wuest says, "How we in the ministry of the word need that injunction today. What a softy we sometimes are, afraid to come out clearly in our proclamation of the truth and our stand as to false doctrine, fearing the ostracism of our fellows." So endure any type of afflictions because through writing and reading, we can give a life or take a life out of the readers. And thus, watch out all things.

```Why did I write to you this book called “UNLOCKING THE NATION’S ECONOMY - EXPOSING ILLITERACY IN LITERATI”?

I spent decade years in classroom learning skills of life. I graduated with high hopes of knowing all the secrets of this life.

During my training years I underestimated people who struggled alot to make their ends meet.

Initially, I thought they dropped out school early. I corrected myself when I heard stories of many successful people without school paper to show. And also seeing someone graduated with distinction from top universities here in Malawi but still having financial challenges.

Then I had to ask alot of questions between our success and our academics. I found them less and almost zero correlated.

But one most things I had found out, nothing scales us down as life after school.

Many people graduated with high hopes of getting a good job that pays well. Again during their school days they were mistakenly thought that life after school is merely a transitory process from a class desk to an office desk . And hence, they were less prepared for the real life outside those four walls of classrooms.

In short, life after school is a dissertation on its own. Many people truly failed to defend it because it does not have a supervisor whom you can bribe or whom you can get corrected before completion.

Life after school proves to people their emptiness of memorization happened in classroom.

Life after school surpasses theories of Johari Window on learning. Life after school tells people that A or D you saw on a marked test paper had nothing to do with your brain.

Life after school humbled teachers who thought they were revealing the only secrets of being successful in this life when they said, “None failed my subjects and have a brighter future.”

Life after school is more than defending your Masters in Business Management but your ability to make a profit of K500 from K80, 000 for 6 consecutive months here in Malawi.

Teachers and lecturers, stop asking us “How did your friends make it?” when we get lower marks.

Initially, remember what Albert Einstein said, “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Secondly, remember the theory done by Howard Gardner about eight human modalities of intelligence.

Thirdly, bear in your mind about the 2015 study journal of nature which established that there are about 88 million possible variations in human D.N.A., so even if the world’s population hits 100 billion, but we won’t still find two individuals who are the same. There is NO possibility that one day we shall be the same so stop attempting to make us the same.
