UPGRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

Aida Chilembwe Community Technical College is pleased to announce that its Electrical Installation and Electronics, and Plumbing programmes have been upgraded to Level 3.

This upgrade has been approved by the Ministry of Labour through the Directorate of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (DTVET) and will be effective January 2027.

We thank all stakeholders for their continued support.

🏐 NETBALL: Level 1 netball team did extremely well - skill, passion and teamwork on full display!

Applications for the January 2027 Government Technical Colleges Intake are still open. The application deadline is 30 September 2026.

Applicants must be 16 years or older and hold an MSCE or equivalent qualification. Credits in English, Mathematics and Science are an added advantage.

Application forms are available at Government Technical Colleges, TEVET Regional Centres, District Council Offices, Labour Offices, Education Offices and NICE Offices. Forms can also be downloaded from www.labour.gov.mw and www.tevetamw.com.

Applications can also be submitted online through the TCRIS portal: https://tcris.labour.gov.mw

With colleges across the Northern, Central and Southern regions, there are opportunities to pursue a wide range of technical and vocational trades.

Madam Mponda, thank you. Thank you for your dedication, your skill, and your heart. You taught us not only how to design and sew, but how to work with excellence and serve our community with what we create.

Because of you, many lives here have been changed. Students have gained skills, income, and confidence. That impact will remain long after today.
