The Saudi Government has pledged to provide budgetary support to help Malawi in its economic recovery plan, the country’s Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro-Fiscal Policies and International Relations, Abdullah Bin Zara, has announced.

Zara made the announcement on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia during a meeting with Malawi’s Minister of Finance, Joseph Mwanamvekha, who is also Malawi’s Special Envoy to the Gulf Nations.

During the meeting, Mwanamvekha explained Malawi’s current food insecurity situation, noting that more than four million people are in urgent need of food assistance.

Mwanamvekha’s visit to Saudi Arabia aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Malawi and Gulf countries, with a focus on macroeconomic stabilisation, infrastructure development, and healthcare.

Mwanamvekha is also scheduled to meet the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ), Mansour Al Mulla.

Arthritis is not just wear and tear. It is a communication failure driven by chronic inflammation, immune overactivity, and constant pain signaling that never gets a proper shutoff switch. This is where the ECS, our Master Regulator, becomes impossible to ignore. The ECS governs inflammatory response, pain perception, immune balance, and tissue recovery. When it is depleted or overwhelmed, joints suffer first and loudest.

CBD and CBG approach arthritis differently, and that distinction matters. CBD acts as a powerful regulator of inflammation. It does not numb pain in the way pharmaceuticals do. Instead, it calms cytokine signaling, reduces oxidative stress, and slows the inflammatory cascade that eats away at cartilage and connective tissue. CBD also interacts with TRPV channels involved in pain signaling, helping turn down the volume without shutting the system off.

CBG works more upstream. It supports immune balance and helps regulate inflammatory enzymes before they spiral out of control. CBG also interacts with alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which play a role in pain modulation, and it supports the control of gut inflammation, which matters more than most realize. Many arthritis patients carry underlying gut-driven inflammation that, over time, feeds joint damage. CBG helps stabilize that loop.

A landmark study that clearly demonstrated CBD’s arthritis potential, “Transdermal cannabidiol reduces inflammation and pain-related behaviours in a rat model of arthritis” was published in 2016

This study showed that CBD significantly reduced joint swelling, inflammatory markers, and pain related behaviors without psychoactive effects. No tolerance. No organ toxicity. No immune suppression. Just regulation doing what it is supposed to do.

What this tells us is important. Cannabinoids do not override the body. They remind it how to regulate itself. Arthritis is not solved by silencing pain alone. It improves when inflammation is controlled etc

IPTE 19 P4 class had a farewell party that took place on Friday 28 November 2025 in p4 class. Mr chilikutali Deputy (Principal) was the guest of honour. Lecturers that were present during the party were , Mr Muhati, Mrs Chilikutali, Miss Laman , Mrs Munthali, Mrs Tembenu and Miss Kudzala.

During the party, student teachers played some games with lecturers, some riddles and poems that were recited by Tamandan Mkhweu and Alinafe Chitepa.

In his speech that Deputy pPincipal (guest of honour ) encouraged the students to continue working hard and keep their light shinning when they go to the world. He further urge them to further their education.

Government Announces Cross Transfers for Over 100 Primary School Teachers

The government, through the Local Government Services Commission, has released a detailing cross transfers of various primary school teachers across the country.

The memo, addressed to district commissioners, has also been copied to the Directors of Education and Sports and the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Education. It states that the postings are with immediate effect.

Most of the teachers affected are in grades J, K, and L.

Many teachers request for cross transfers to follow their spouses or to be closer to their home districts.
