Malawi Revenue Authority Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences- MUBAS

Today, 10 April 2025, will be a memorable day for the Association of Taxation Students (ATAS)! We were hosted by the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) ⚖️ and had an incredible learning experience. We gained valuable insights into various types of taxes, including income taxes, customs and excise tax, withholding tax, and more. The MRA team also shared their expertise on efficiency and effectiveness in tax collection, and how we as tax students can contribute to shaping taxation in Malawi🇲🇼.

We were treated to refreshments, which was a lovely surprise! Although we wished we had more time, we are grateful for the experience. A huge thank you to the Commissioner General and the entire MRA team for hosting us. We pray for more sessions like this in the future🙏🏾😁.

Another huge set of thank you goes to Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences- MUBAS for allowing and giving us the chance and resources to go learn from MRA.

We're proud to be part of ATAS and look forward to continuing our journey in taxation.🥳🥳
