🤖📚 Rethinking Academia in the AI Era
Members of the MNU Library Senior Management Team participated in the session “Rethinking Academia in the AI Era”, conducted by the Faculty of Arts, MNU, on 23 September 2026.
Facilitated by Professor Dr. Dilara Begum of East West University, Bangladesh, the session explored AI in higher education, including AI literacy, teaching and learning, research, academic integrity, and the responsible use of AI.
The session also introduced the concept of an AI Literacy Desk to support students and academics in navigating AI responsibly within the academic environment. 💡
We remain committed to strengthening AI literacy, ethical information use, academic integrity, and lifelong learning across the MNU community. 💙📖

Through active participation, students discovered the work that happens behind the scenes to keep a library organised and accessible. 💙💛

Three members of our Senior Management team, Ms. Rishfa Ibrahim, Ms. Ajra Rafeeq and Ms. Aminath Nasiha, are taking part in a Professional Development Workshop on Library & Information Services in Perth, Australia, from 9–19 September 2026.
The programme explores emerging trends, AI, innovative library practices and information services through interactive sessions and visits to various information and cultural institutions.
