A Taste of Hospitality in Action!

Our BTEC Hospitality students put their skills into practice by planning, preparing, and serving a three-course meal, recreating the experience of a real restaurant.

From food preparation to presentation and table service, the practical gave students an opportunity to experience the different aspects of professional hospitality service in action.

A wonderful hands-on learning experience that brought their classroom learning to life!

Report Distribution – Grades 10, 11 & 12 | Term 2, 2026

We extend our sincere appreciation to our former student, Asma Mohamed, Lead Financial Advisor at Bank of Maldives, Kulhudhuffushi Branch, for joining us as the Chief Guest for the Term 2 Report Distribution for Grades 10, 11 and 12.

It was a pleasure to welcome back one of our former students and have her share this special occasion with our students and school community.

Grade 9 and 10 Science students from Kumundhoo School visited Jalaluddin School for an educational and practical learning experience.

As part of their visit, the students conducted Biology experiments in the Biology Lab and explored our Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, and School Library.

It was a valuable opportunity for the students to engage in hands-on learning and explore the facilities available at Jalaluddin School.

Our Grade 4 students enjoyed an exciting visit to MNDF Coast Guard ship “Imaduddin”. They explored the vessel, learned about maritime safety, gained a deeper understanding of the vital role the Coast Guard plays in protecting our seas and serving the nation.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the MNDF Coast Guard team for warmly welcoming our students and sharing their knowledge and expertise.

Grade 10 Marine Science Field Trip — a wonderful day by the sea!

Our Grade 10 students recently headed out for a hands-on marine science field trip, and what a day of discovery it was! Learning came alive as they:

Collected and observed plankton
Measured light pe*******on in the water
Calculated the beach slope
Measured water current
Checked the amplitude of the tide
Sampled marine life using the quadrat method

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to step out of the classroom and experience science in the real world measuring, observing, and connecting with the ocean environment around us.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your support in making this trip possible. Your encouragement helps our young scientists explore, learn, and grow.
