Today, we were pleased to welcome members of the Maldives Blind and Visually Impaired Society (MBVIS) to our school for an inspiring awareness session with our staff and students.

They shared their experiences, demonstrated the assistive technology they use in their daily lives, and reminded us of the importance of kindness, understanding, and inclusion. Our students also learned that offering a helping hand to those with visual impairments is a simple act that can make a meaningful difference.

We were especially delighted to meet one of our former students, who successfully completed the SSC examination despite being visually impaired. His achievement is a source of pride and an inspiration to our students.

It was also a pleasure to welcome Mr. Abdulla Ziyau, a familiar friend of our school who has always been there to support us by managing the sound system during many of our major events. We truly appreciate his continued kindness and service.

Our sincere thanks to the MBVIS team for spending time with us and sharing such valuable lessons. It was an experience our school community will remember.

Our School Cadets and Band proudly took part in the Combined Schools' Parade held to mark the 61st Independence Day of the Republic of Maldives.

The parade passed through the streets of Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, and Feydhoo. We are proud of our students for their discipline, commitment, and the way they represented our school throughout the celebration.
