Today, our staff had the privilege of participating in an engaging workshop and interactive session on “Community of Good Practices at School”, facilitated by Dr. C. Boodhoo from the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE).

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the school management for organising this enriching professional development session, which provided valuable insights and encouraged the sharing of best practices.

A special thank you also goes to the President and members of the PTA for their thoughtful get-together and for expressing their appreciation of the dedication and hard work of our staff. Your support and encouragement inspire us to continue striving for the betterment of our school and the success of our students.

On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, organised by the MGI, we extend our sincere gratitude to our Directors for arranging this marvellous and inspiring event.
The programme brought together participants in a spirit of wellness, discipline, and unity. We are proud to announce that MGSS Nouvelle France secured the First Prize, while our school achieved an excellent Second Prize. Congratulations to all the participants, coaches, and organisers whose dedication and hard work contributed to the success of this memorable celebration.

MGSS Solferino a eu l’honneur d’accueillir Madame Audrey PARIS, Coordinatrice de Campus France à l’Institut français de Maurice pour animer une causerie consacrée aux études supérieures en France.

We warmly welcome Prof. Satyapal Singh, ICCR Chair for Sanskrit and Philosophy, and Dr. Kirthee Ramjutton, Head of the Sanskrit Department at MGI.

The discussion and interaction with our students focused on the promotion of Sanskrit through Online teaching and learning initiatives, the offering of various Sanskrit courses, and the preparation of students for the Cambridge School Certificate (SC) and Higher School Certificate (HSC) Examinations.

Hinduism department is proud to announce that our students participated in the Ramakrishna Mission Competition held on 7th June. Their dedication and hard work brought excellent results, with our school securing 5 winning positions in Essay Writing, Recitation and Elocution. Congratulations to all participants and winners for making us proud! 👏👏

The Art & Design Department is proud to inform that our Grade 13 Student, Padmaja Shanti Boodhoo’s artwork ‘Human infested waters’ has been selected among the 4 finalists for the Best Young Artist category in the SAMUDRA ART PRIZE 2026.

Huge congratulation to Padmaja on this achievement.
