Once a year, all our campuses close to allow our staff to gather for an offsite training day, which turned into a Team Challenge for our campus teams. Undivided, unstoppable. Neither rain, hail nor shine could keep our dynamic, passionate and determined teams from reaching their goals...and have a lot of fun too! #thedukesbridgeteam #happyteachershappychildren #teachinghappiness

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have today completed the acquisition of the premises which will be converted into Dukesbridge Primary school (South campus) over the few months. The site is along the M2 motorway between the Nouvelle France roundabout and Rose-Belle. We cannot wait for the renovations to be completed so that our students can enjoy their lessons with breathtaking sea and mountain views... and a shorter ride to school! #dukesbridgesouth #dukesbridgeprimary For new admissions for the 2020-2021 primary intakes, please call 4631066.

The Independence Day celebrations may have been cancelled this week because of bad weather, but this will not hold back our students from singing at home the item specially prepared for the event. Milo the Dodo is the first single composed, produced and released by Dukesbridge. All students across the Dukesbridge campuses learnt to sing an acoustic version of the song three weeks before it was recorded in the studio at the J&J Auditorium in the first week of March 2020. The song has since been registered with the Mauritius Society of Authors (MASA). All the radio channels in Mauritius have received a copy of the song which we are hoping they will air. Share to the max!

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR PARENTS – 13 March 2020
We are so thankful that there has been no case of Covid-19 in Mauritius till now which has given us the opportunity to plan ahead. Further to the request of many parents, the outbreak of Dengue fever & gastro after the heavy rainfall and having worked with our IT suppliers this past week, we are pleased to announce that we are ready to roll out the Dukesbridge Online Homeschooling platform as from Monday 16th March. For the remaining three weeks of Term 1, we will NOT be able to physically accommodate any student who is showing the slightest symptom of flu, cold, gastro or fever, and we are making school attendance OPTIONAL for all our other students. Healthy students who elect to be at school will be taken to the bathrooms for hand-washing in the middle and at the end of every lesson. All surfaces will also be disinfected throughout the day. Parents who elect for their children to be at home during this period will get access to daily lesson plans, morning video tutorials, online submission of assignments and will be able to connect online with our teaching coordinators for each age group as from ELY class. Should there be a nationwide Government-mandated lockdown of schools in the future like in other countries, we are pleased that the above system will ensure that all our students would not miss out on their learning plan. As we are compiling a list of FAQs that will go out to parents over the weekend, we kindly ask that you send to [email protected] any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have to help us make this an effective initiative for all our students. #planningahead #dukesbridgegoesonline #betterbesafethansorry
