Proud Steps Towards Inclusive Education! 🏫💙
On the 1st of September 2026, our school community had the privilege of participating in the very first Mauritius National Summit! 🇲🇺
The theme, “From Awareness to Action: Building an inclusive Autism Ecosystem,” was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do every single day. It was truly inspiring to hear from professionals and parents about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and we are especially grateful to Dr. Alok Arora from the JKP Foundation for his insightful contributions.
Visiting the Angel Special School and Welfare Association was a deeply moving experience. Seeing their dedication and unconditional love for every child reinforced our own mission. A heartfelt salute to Mrs. Sok Appadu (Director) and Mr. Dhorasoo (Chairperson) for creating such a wonderful, nurturing space.
For us, this Summit wasn't just about listening, it was about affirming our daily commitment to inclusive education. Our school community is working step by step to ensure that “No child is left behind” in our classrooms and beyond.
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Deepak Maunthrooa for his appreciation and recognition of our efforts. His continued support for our school’s advocacy means the world to us. Knowing that community leaders stand with us gives us even more strength to push forward and build a truly inclusive ecosystem for every child. 🤝
