Talking about changing from one language to the next, here is a little piece of information that most people don't know.

When you change from one language to the next on paper, it's called translating, so the person doing it is a translator.

When you change from one language to the next verbally, it's called interpreting and the person doing it is an interpreter.

So now you know!

Languages fascinate me. It's interesting to see how expressions change from one language to the next, we're saying the same thing but differently, so things can never be translated literally.
