"Hello,

After recently seeing a few posts, I felt a strong urge to reach out and share my appreciation.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for the profound impact Eden college has had on my personal and professional journey. I am proud to share that I am today a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA Member)—an accomplishment that is deeply rooted in the values, discipline, and confidence instilled in me during my years at the college.

My time was filled with meaningful experiences that helped shape the person I am today. In particular, participating in elocution and debate competitions and winning a few of them played a significant role in developing my critical thinking, communication skills, and self-belief. Those moments, guided by supportive teachers and encouraging mentors continue to influence the way I present myself and tackle challenges in my career.

I am deeply grateful for the dedication of every teacher and staff member who contributed to my growth. The academic foundation, the life lessons, and the culture of excellence I encountered at the school have been instrumental in my success.

Brief overview on the college:

Eden College was founded in 1951 by late Mr. Sachitanandsing Balgobin, who from then, was the Manager of Eden Colleges until 03 May 1983.

Mrs. Lalita Balgobin, wife of late Mr. S. Balgobin, took over as Manager in 1983 until her retirement on 31 December 2023. She is now enjoying a peaceful and well deserved retirement while devoting herself to her social activities.

Mrs. L. Balgobin, along with her four children are the Co-owners of Eden Colleges: Mr Dhiraj Balgobin, Mrs Priya Ramdaursing, Mrs Jaya Balgobin, and Mrs Shalina Nijhawan, who consistently show keen interest in the development of the school and form part of the Board of Directors.

Last but not the least , since 01 January 2023 till date, Mr. Imran Amiran, is the Manager of Eden College Girls and Mrs. Aarti Shiboo has been occupying the post of Rector, since October 2019 till present date, together working for the benefits of the whole school community.
