Celebrations of 108 years of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mauritius In 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture celebrates its 112th year of existence, tracing its roots back to the founding of the School of Agriculture in 1914.

The Faculty of Agriculture, former School of Agriculture celebrates its 100 years in 2014. The Faculty of Agriculture, originally founded as an Agricultural College and School of Agriculture in 1914. From its inception, it has played a vital role in providing the trained human resources for the public and private sectors, necessary for the development of the sugar, agriculture, horticulture, food science and technology, and related sectors in Mauritius. It places great emphasis on the quality of its training in a range of full-time and part-time programmes. To mark this event our alumni are welcome to share their experiences at the Agricultural College, School of Agriculture and Faculty of Agriculture by commenting on the various events, Photoshop etc posted on this page. Lets build a whole community of former graduates of the Faculty.
