Our team recently took part in a First Aid training session, strengthening their knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and appropriately in an emergency.

Beyond knowing the basic first aid steps, it’s also about staying calm, acting confidently and providing reassurance when it matters most.

A valuable skill for our team, and an important part of keeping a safe and supportive environment for our entire school community.

Congratulations to our students who recently participated in a mountain biking competition in the north of the island. They performed exceptionally well, with a Savannah student earning a place on the podium in every category! 💪

You have made us incredibly proud!

A big thank you to our amazing coaches for their dedication and for leading the weekly cycling training sessions at school.

What a privilege and a joy it is to nurture our students' passion for cycling and to see them achieve such wonderful success!

As part of their learning in the ‘Being Human’ unit, our Year 5 students have been exploring how the human body works, what it needs to stay healthy, and how we can support the well-being of others in our community.

To put their learning into meaningful action, they are organising a Blood Drive in collaboration with the Blood Donors Association. This is a powerful way for them to connect their studies on the heart, blood, and health to real-world impact.

By donating blood, you can:
🧬 Save lives in our local hospitals
🧬 Support children’s understanding of community service
🧬 Set an inspiring example for our young learners

🇫🇷 What a fantastic French Day at Savannah! 🇫🇷

Today, our students celebrated French language and culture through a wonderful variety of activities that brought learning to life.

Each class proudly presented something special during our whole-school assembly, showcasing French songs, poems, stories, performances and presentations. It was a wonderful opportunity for our learners to share their learning and celebrate together as a school community.

Throughout the day, students also enjoyed dressing according to the theme, sharing delicious French-inspired cuisine and taking part in a range of engaging classroom activities.

A special congratulations to all of the students who participated in our French Day competitions. We were incredibly impressed by the creativity, imagination and effort that went into every entry. Well done!

A huge thank you to our dedicated French teachers for organising such a memorable day, and to our families for their continued support.

📚✨ What a wonderful 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 at Savannah International School! ✨📚

Our school was filled with stories, imagination and a love of reading.

From Silly Socks Day, Buddy Reading and guest readers from our parent community, to our Favourite Book Character Dress-Up Day, students embraced every opportunity to celebrate books.

Congratulations to all of our Book Week competition winners, and a heartfelt thank you to Éditions Le Printemps for hosting our Book Sale and generously sponsoring some of our competition prizes.
