Today, our campus community came together for the Sustainability Awareness Session as part of Middlesex University Mauritius’ Sustainability Awareness Program.

From meaningful discussions on waste reduction, reutilisation, composting, and recycling to Dr Nancy Veerayen’s insightful talk on the importance of plants in our everyday lives, the session encouraged us all to reflect on how small actions can create a lasting impact.

We had the honour of welcoming Mr Jim Adams, former Deputy Chief Technologist at NASA, alongside Mrs Audrey Athave, American Spaces Coordinator from the U.S. Embassy, to Middlesex University Mauritius as part of the Freedom250: Artemis and U.S. Leadership in Space Innovation programme 🚀

During an engaging and interactive session, Mr Adams shared valuable insights on space innovation, emerging technologies, and future career pathways in the global space sector. The event offered students an inspiring opportunity to explore the future of space exploration and technological advancement.
