We thank all the pupils and the parents who were able to make it for this excursion. I realize that it was a long, long, long way in the South East. We have been preparing this visit through lectures, readings, discussions and posters. Finally, the learners were able to see for themselves the house of the Robillard Family. This house served as a place of refuge as well as a place of treatment of the wounded soldiers during the naval battle of Grand-Port, where the French won.

We have a special word of thanks for Mr. Vicky Baldeo, who took a day off his work to accompany and coach the Republic Gentlemen.

A bunch of congratulations to Paris Subrun for her presence, assistance and support.
