On-the-spot Poetry is a way of interactive poetry, where the poet uses conversation to form a poem. This
form of poetry can add value to an event, may it be a festival, a wedding or an opening. The poetry captures a specific moment, to become a written memory created on an old fashioned typewriter. Kikkra Kelma organises Poetry Circles where attendees share and discuss their written work. The Poetry Circles start off with a descriptive writing exercise, an ice-breaker which helps attendees feel more at ease, followed by a sharing circle. Kikkra Kelma's Workshops for children are inspired upon the idea of creating a safe space to play around with words, to show them how fun and playful poetry can be.
