describes her experience as a DJ student with AISO Academy as a very encouraging one, as she emphasized the importance of listening deeply - which Dovile did more and more of throughout her journey, shaping her sets to the sounds she enjoys ! 🕺

She also shared that her tutor was patient, friendly and accommodating while guiding the sessions. 🎧

Music. What is it, truly ? How and why does it make us feel the way we do ? When and how do we rely on it the most ?

Everybody may answer these questions differently, but all answers undeniably point towards one thing: MUSIC IS A LANGUAGE - a means to communicate thought, feeling and emotion - a means that can sometimes explain what words can’t.

This is some of what was explored throughout the Harmonic Horizons project, wherein AISO Academy directed a DJ & Music Production Club throughout the scholastic year of 2025-2026 at San Gorg Preca Secondary School ( Ex-lyceum Hamrun ). This project has seen over 20 different students learn DJing & Music production concepts whilst participating in discussion surrounding different concepts on the importance of music.
