🎵 Grade 1 Music Theory | Starting October 🎵

Learning an instrument is about more than playing the right notes. Understanding how music works helps students become more confident and independent musicians.

In Grade 1 Theory, students learn the foundations of music, including:
• Musical notation & note values
• Rhythm & time signatures
• Scales & key signatures
• Musical terms & symbols
• How these concepts relate to their instrument

These skills make reading music easier and help students understand what they are playing, rather than simply memorising it.

Students can also sit for the Trinity College London exam after completing the syllabus.
