We are happy to share some snippets of the literature review prepared by project partners for Project DEEP.

🤩As we prepare for Project DEEP’s second Transnational Meeting in Greece, we recall our first meeting in Malta!

👀During this first meeting of partners, we laid the foundations for the main outcome of the project, namely the development of a whole-school framework on democratic participation in schools. Working with pilot schools operating in very different contexts in Malta, Greece and Catalunya will enable us to create a tool that is as inclusive and adaptable as possible.

🙌🏽The next step will be to collect data from different stakeholders in and around schools in order to enable a needs analysis. That, together with a sound literature review and country analysis, will help us progress towards the optimal toolkit for all.

The IfE has partnered with two organisations located in Greece and Catalonia to work on a new Erasmus+ project, focusing on Democracy for Educational Empowerment and Participation (DEEP) within school communities.

The aim of the project is to develop a whole-school democratic framework through an action research approach. The IfE is looking for partner schools with whom the framework can be developed.
