Students aged 13-16 are invited to take part in the Future Innovators Summer School at MCAST Paola Campus.

The programme includes hands-on sessions on:

A successful day at MCAST IICT as part of Industry on Campus!

We hosted 15 companies at our institute, giving students the opportunity to meet employers, explore opportunities and apply for apprenticeships.

🌍 MCAST Institute of ICT in Belgium! 🇧🇪

Last week, our institute joined a Blended Intensive Programme on Gen AI and Business, alongside partners from Belgium (Hogeschool PXL), Croatia (Sveučilište Algebra Bernays) and Germany (Rosenheim University).

Our staff delivered the technical lectures and led hands-on sessions, teaching multidisciplinary student teams how to accelerate rapid prototyping 💻🚀.

It was fantastic to see students from different backgrounds collaborating so well. A huge thank you to Jan, Tom, Maarten, and Joeri at PXL for hosting and to Stella and Carolin for their excellent business and marketing sessions! 🙌

ICT Summer Student Working Scheme

Last week we welcomed Dr Kimely Borg Warne from the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU), who delivered a talk to our students on the role of the FIAU in Malta.

The session covered the FIAU’s function, the regulatory framework it operates within, and its relevance to sectors such as iGaming. Students were also introduced to key AML/CFT topics, including identifying beneficial owners and related compliance obligations.
