Parents who attended our meetings have repeatedly brought up the issue of paternity leave, or rather the dire lack of it in Malta!
We acted on this feedback and contacted EU representatives and local MPs. There is good news! We have an EU directive at hand that states that all member states need to implement 10 days plus 4 months of parental leave . This should be enacted by August 2022 but why the wait? Families due to give birth need this law enacted ASAP! We've done our bit and created a parliamentary petition to make pressure to get this going ... now do your bit; sign below and share!
