Halfway Milestone! 🤝⚙️️

As we reach the halfway point of the MASCOT project, we are organising a workshop to present our progress, key insights, and developments on designing and testing a smart, sustainable, and accessible workstation.

The aim of this workshop is to collect valuable feedback from participants to help us refine and improve our solutions during the next stages of the project.

Science in the City 2026 🚀✨

We had an incredible time sharing information on the MASCOT project with the community this weekend. Visitors got to experience our assistive technology hands-on and see how we're building smarter, more inclusive workstations.

📻 The MASCOT Team recently had the opportunity to participate in a live interview on Campus 103.7, where we shared the aims and objectives of the MASCOT project, raising awareness about our work.

We’re inviting persons with disabilities (ages 16+) to take part in an exciting study where you will:

✔ Test an Industrial Smart Workstation
✔ Complete practical tasks
✔ Share your feedback on usability and accessibility
✔ Gain hands-on experience

No prior manufacturing experience required.

Over the past months, the MASCOT Project has conducted a series of focus groups to shape the preliminary workstation design 🛠️

We worked closely with key stakeholders, including disability specialists, technical specialists, parents of persons with disability, and persons with disability themselves 🤝

The sessions generated valuable and insightful feedback 💬 This input was carefully analysed and directly integrated into the design, helping us improve its inclusivity, usability, and relevance in real-world settings ♿✨
