Ms Nagaat Bugeja, a kindergarten Educator has just returned from a trip in Hungary as part of Erasmus + Project. It must have been an enriching professional experience. There,she shares her good teaching practices with
other educators from other countries, and they share theirs with her. We look forward to hearing from Ms Nagaat herself about her experience in Budapest, Hungary. 👌

I would like to congratulate Sirui Chen Ray on his achievement in the HIGH 5 MATHS COMPETITION. This is a tough challenge for gifted learners in Math reasoning. Ray kept advancing in the competition and placed with the final 10. He is a pupil in Ms Charlene Xerri Hili class year 5. A big well done ⭐️

Yesterday was our last day of this scholastic year. We celebrated our
good year with a get-to-gether away from school. I thank my colleagues and staff for their dedication and collaboration throughout the year. Their commitment is key to creating opportunities and experiences for our pupils to learn and grow. Our pupils are at the heart of what we do. I extend my gratitude to the parents who are always cooperative and suppirtive. Let’s enjoy our deserved break and return in September. Ole’ ❤️

For this year’s SUPERTEMATIK International Maths Competition a good number of pupils from year 4,5, and 6 took part. We encourage our pupils to have a go. It’s an opportunity to sharpen their mental computation skills and have fun. We had two particular pupils in year 4 MATTIA CALLEJA who placed 20th and CLAUDIO CANTARELLA who placed 30th out of more than 40,000 candidates. JULIA BORG in year 5 placed 11th in her category of over 50,000 candidates. We’re so happy for their achievement!👌Well done to all and thank you to their educators and deputy head for their support. ❤️

Bidding Farewell to our year 6 cohort. We watched them learn and grow . Now it’s time to shine elsewhere . It was such a delight to have them all, so smart, enthusiastic, and fun. I thank all the educators who were part of their journey along the eight years at Mgarr but not least those who were with them in this challenging and final year- Ms Maria, Ms Yolanda, Ms Alison, Ms Ruth, Ms Miriam, Ms Josette and Ms Madlin. Heartfelt thanks to Ms Alison, the deputy in charge of the year group. Wishing our learners the very best in their next chapter. May God bless you all ❤️⭐️

As this scholastic comes to a close, we pause with gratitude to reflect on the journey we have shared. It has been a year filled with growth, learning, challenges, and meaningful achievements.
My sincere appreciation to our dedicated staff, to our learners for their curiosity and enthusiasm and we are deeply grateful to our parents and guardians for their trust, support and partnership. So yesterday we celebrated Holy Mass in gratitude. The School Council President Mr Paul Galea gave out books to every pupil on behalf of the school and later we enjoyed an ice cream moment together. On to the next one 👍
