The arrival of Education 4.0 represents an ideal approach, aligning the Fourth Industrial Revolution with education; this is because the industrial revolution bases its development on robotics, smart technology, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, gamification, teacher assessment and student self-assessment, Big data, use of digital platforms; facilitating our daily lives.
Educational centers have the challenge of training students with these new ways of teaching. Part of the curriculum should always include these technologies. In this way the learning approach will always be based on the new ways of studying and their application in the new working environments.💻📱📟📧📡

🌟 DigiTrainer Project Update!

Last week, the DigiTrainer team met virtually to discuss our progress and next steps. Key highlights included updates on ongoing project work, preparation for the upcoming interim report, and ensuring all tasks are on track for submission by the end of November. We also reviewed content development efforts and set plans for quality assurance to maintain the highest of standards.

With clear goals and action items, we’re moving steadily toward the next phase of the project. Our next meeting is scheduled for mid-December, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going! Stay tuned for more updates.

🚀 DIGITRAINER 4.0 Project Progress 🚀

We’re making steady progress in the DIGITRAINER 4.0 project, focused on empowering trainers for the future of Education 4.0. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our partners, we’re reaching key milestones! 🙌

✅ WP2 (Research, Design & Content) is nearly complete! With national reports finalized, good practices collected, and the synthesis report underway, we’re well on track to developing innovative training materials for vocational education.

🔜 Next Step: WP3 – E-learning Tools & Piloting 🎯
We’re now entering the exciting phase of developing e-learning tools, including animated videos, podcasts, and a fully integrated digital platform. These tools will soon undergo testing to ensure they meet the needs of educators across Europe. 🌍💻

Our next Transnational Project Meeting will take place in Castellón, Valencia on October 18, 2024, but some of us will already be there the day before! If you’d like to connect, feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to arrange a meeting.

Kevin Spiteri, one of our representatives from Malta in the DIGITRAINER 4.0 project, recently interviewed Mr. George Galea, Headmaster at San Ġorg Preca College Ħamrun. They had an engaging conversation about how digital tools are being integrated into the classrooms.

Headmaster Galea shared insights on the innovative digital technologies the college is using and talked about his own experiences with these tools. He covered topics like how comfortable teachers from his school are with digital tools, what the school needs for digitalization, the need for more and more training and the positive impacts these tools are having on the engagement of the students.
