Holocaust Memorial Day on 27 January is the day to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under N**i Persecution during the Second World War. Students in Classes 7.1 and 7.2 commemorated this day by drawing colourful butterflies and dedicating them to children who died during that time in concentration camps. They googled the names of such children and wrote them down next to a butterfly. One name that everyone knew was the name of Ann Frank.
Excerpts from the Diary of Ann Frank were read out. The students also created a commemorative flame to honour all the people that lost their lives during the Holocaust.
