There are places that don’t need to impress.
Its greatness is felt in the silence.
Today I walked through the streets of Mdina, a city where every stone seems to keep a memory and every corner invites you to slow down. There is no hurry here... just the magic of letting time pass slowly.
While walking through its alleys, I understood that beauty is not always in the new, but in what has been able to preserve its essence over the years.
And I thought that people are like that too.
Life changes us, teaches us, challenges us... but there is something very valuable about never losing what we are.
Maybe that’s why this place made me smile.
Because, between centuries-old walls and doors full of history, I remembered that it is always worth continuing to walk with curiosity, with gratitude and with the heart ready to be surprised.
Sometimes we think we’re looking for landscapes...
And it turns out that, along the way, we also find ourselves a little more.
There are cities that are visited once... and others that, without asking permission, find a place to stay in your heart.
