Malta is rich in cultural heritage. It is a well known fact that Cultural Heritage is widely recognised across Europe as a vehicle of cultural identity. In fact, how much people know about cultural heritage depends both on what is done to promote it and also on the capacity of Europeans to become familiar with and appreciate their own culture and those of the other EU Member States.

A wonderful opportunity to continue our MeWell journey in Kaunas, learning from cultural mediator and art historian Ben Street. Through engaging discussions and practical activities, participants are exploring how art mediation can foster cultural participation, learning, and wellbeing for adults aged 50+.

Call for Artists: Exhibition on Mindfulness and Elderly Wellbeing
We invite artists to participate in a unique exhibition promoting mindfulness and elderly wellbeing as part of the MeWell: Art Mediation for Knowledge, Cultural Participation, and Wellbeing project (2024-1-LT01-KA210-ADU-000253146). This initiative aims to explore the transformative power of art mediation in enhancing cultural engagement and emotional well-being.
Theme:
Artists are encouraged to submit works that reflect themes of mindfulness, aging, emotional resilience, and intergenerational connections. The exhibition seeks to create a reflective and immersive space where art fosters deeper connections and well-being among elderly participants.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome painters, sculptors, photographers, multimedia artists, and other creatives interested in contributing to this meaningful initiative. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.
