Nothing says summer like water games at Camp Willingness! 💦

Our campers had a brilliant time taking on water challenges, working together, cheering each other on, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

From taking turns to helping teammates and getting completely soaked in the process, there was plenty of fun to go around. ☀️

Every journey begins with a single step, and ours began over seven years ago.

Since then, hundreds of children have explored nature, built friendships, faced challenges, discovered new strengths, and created unforgettable memories through Camp Willingness.

These experiences have done more than shape the children who joined us. They have also shaped us.

By listening to children, families, and our team, we have continued to improve every year, refining our activities and creating experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and developmentally focused.

We've reached the final chapter of the Explore. Move. Grow. journey.

These final four themes encourage children to think independently, embrace challenges, recognize their progress, and bring everything they've learned together in one exciting outdoor adventure.

🧠 Theme 7 – My Brain Leads the Way
Children use memory, focus, coordination, creativity, and decision-making through engaging in outdoor experiences.

🛡️ Theme 8 – Courage Lives in Me
Children develop resilience by attempting safe challenges, managing frustration, and learning to try again.

⭐ Theme 9 – I Can Do More Than I Thought
Children celebrate their progress, recognize their strengths, and discover how practice helps them grow.

🧭 Theme 10 – The Ultimate Explorer Challenge
The final Saturday brings together movement, awareness, teamwork, courage, and problem-solving in one memorable adventure.

Each Saturday is meaningful on its own, but together the ten themes create one purposeful developmental journey designed to help children grow through movement, nature, and real experiences.

The kids have been very busy getting Sig ready for his summer adventures! 🎒☀️

This week, our campers got creative with Sig’s Backpack, choosing what they thought he should pack and adding their own colourful touches along the way.

Activities like this give children the chance to use their imagination, make choices, share their ideas and create something that feels completely their own.

And judging by those smiles, they were pretty pleased with the results! 💙
