🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL — SCHOOL YEAR 2026–2027! 🚸

The Department of Public Safety welcomes students, teachers, and school staff back for another school year! Public schools begin on August 18, 2026.

As schools reopen, motorists are reminded to slow down and stay alert. Please expect increased traffic during morning and afternoon commute hours and watch for:

🚌 School buses making frequent stops
🚸 Students crossing streets and using crosswalks
🚶 Pedestrians walking to and from school
🚗 Increased traffic around school zones

Please obey posted speed limits, remain attentive, and give students and pedestrians the extra time and space they need.

Let’s work together to make sure every student arrives at school and returns home safely. 💙
