Dropping these.
Sometimes we judge people for a mistake.
We laughed at them
We say" li kouyon ki sa"
What you don't often see?
The invisible battle, struggles.
What if that person has a brain injury?
That's why he make silly grammar mistake, counting.
He may have a PhD. He may have several academic qualifications.
Sometimes life happens. Tragedy.
Trauma Accidental.Illness.
Which impact his brain in a cognitive way?
It is very important to show kindnessand not to judge people.
I posted these two pictures to describe the reality of someone with brain injuries

🕊 THE HUMAN BEHIND THE WHITE COAT IN NEUROSURGERY 🧠🤍🕊
One little thing I like to do when I go to see my neurosurgeon is bring a small packet of biscuits. 🍪🤍
Why?
Because the role of a neurosurgeon is incredibly demanding.
One moment, they may be in theatre performing surgery.
The next, they are consulting patients, reviewing scans, analysing symptoms, making difficult decisions, dealing with emergencies, speaking with families, and trying to find answers.
And then sometimes, they have to put on yet another “hat.”
Not literally the hat of a psychologist or therapist, of course but the human one.
They listen.
They reassure.
They help restore your confidence when illness has shaken it.
They explain frightening things in a way a patient can understand.
They sit with our fears.
They give comfort.
They encourage us when we are overwhelmed.
Sometimes, they guide us through moments when our whole medical reality feels too much to carry.
Their work is not only technical.
It is deeply human too. 🧠🤍
And I know a little about that from the patient’s side because, medically speaking, I can be quite fascinating myself. 😂🧠
My own journey has allowed me to see how much thinking, patience, responsibility, compassion and problem-solving can go into caring for just one patient.
Sometimes, as patients, we arrive carrying our symptoms, fears, questions, uncertainty and problems.
And while their role is to care for us, I think it is beautiful to occasionally remember:
🌿 The person caring for us is human too.
🌿 Behind all that clinical responsibility, they may witness illness, trauma, pain and difficult outcomes day after day, while still having to remain present for the next patient who needs them.
🌿 They get tired.
🌿 They work under pressure.
🌿 They carry enormous responsibility.
❤️ Yet so many still choose to meet their patients with patience, kindness and compassion.
So for me, a small packet of biscuits is simply a little way of saying:
“I see what you do.
I appreciate you.
Thank you for caring.” 🤍🍪❤️
It is never really about the biscuits.
It is about gratitude.
Kindness does not have to be expensive or grand to be meaningful.
Sometimes appreciation is a sincere thank-you.
Sometimes it is a smile.
And sometimes…
it looks like a little packet of biscuits. 🍪🥹
And perhaps this is one of the things Jesus continues to form in me:
When He produces kindness in our hearts, eventually that fruit reaches somebody else. 🌿✝️
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…”
— Galatians 5:22
May we never become so consumed by our own battles that we forget to appreciate the people God places along the journey to help us through them. 🤍🌿

SIR… I WENT TO NEUROSURGERY, NOT PAEDIATRICS 😭😂🧠
After leaving my neurosurgery appointment this morning, I had some snacks with me. (See pictures 😅)
Haan looked at them and asked:
“You got stickers?”
Stickers?? 😭😂
Apparently, this little man thought I had gone to see a paediatrician, got an injection, and the doctor had given me these snacks as a reward. 😅
“Bravo, you were brave, little kiddo.” 😅
Sir…
I JUST CAME FROM NEUROSURGERY. 😭😂
Although, looking at what I was carrying…
Okay.
Fair enough. 😂
Apparently, I can leave a neurosurgery appointment looking like somebody gave me a good-behaviour prize. 🍫😅
But this little moment reminded me of something.
Living with a condition doesn’t mean every medical moment has to become a sad story.
There are exhausting appointments.
Conversations you never imagined would become part of your everyday vocabulary.
But somewhere between all of that…
there can still be laughter. 😅😅😅
Humour doesn’t mean I don’t understand the seriousness of what I have faced.
I live inside this body.
I know.
But illness already takes enough.
I don’t want to give it my laughter too. 😅
I am a patient.
But I am also still ME.
I still laugh.
I still joke.
I still have faith.
I still find ridiculous little moments .....
Sometimes resilience doesn’t look like an inspirational speech.
Sometimes…
it looks like leaving a neurosurgery appointment with snacks and having someone wonder whether the paediatrician gave you stickers. 😭😂😅😅😅
And then coming home to the sweetest ending. ❤️
Once I was back home, decompressed ,showered and back in my pyjamas, Haan came over…
and gave me one huge teddy-bear hug. 🧸❤️
So yes, Haan… my little nephew.
Those were my stickers. 😂
I was apparently VERY well behaved at neurosurgery. 🧠🍫😅🕊️
And after everything…
I got my hug too. ❤️
Apparently 3* years old me were extremely brave at the paediatrician...🤣🤣🤣🤣💪💪💪

I was cracked, but I wasn’t finished.
The difficult ground became a place of growth.
God produced life in a place that looked incapable of carrying it.

This is called Godfidence.
La gloire Lui revient.
Les vidéos suivront. ❤️
Je remercie Sahana Jafer et Bakery Lab pour cette opportunité.
