In celebration of World Portuguese Language Day🇵🇹, our Principal was invited to share a beautiful story in Portuguese titled "Na Rua" (In the Street).

The children were absolutely captivated, listening carefully as they went on a journey through the streets of Macau. It was wonderful to see their curious faces as they explored the sounds of a new language and the familiar sights of our city.

To mark the occasion, we also practiced our first Portuguese words: Bom dia (Good morning) and Olá (Hello)! 🗣✨

Learning about the diverse cultures and languages that make Macau🇲🇴 unique is such an important part of our journey together.❤️

為了慶祝世界葡萄牙語日🇵🇹，我們邀請了所長以葡萄牙語為小朋友們分享了一個優美的故事 — 《在街上》（Na Rua）。

小朋友們都被深深吸引，全神貫注地透過故事遊歷澳門街道。看著他們探索新語言的韻律，同時發現城市中熟悉的景象，流露出好奇的小表情，場面十分溫馨。

為了慶祝這個日子，大家還學習了簡單的葡語問候：“Bom dia”（早安）和 “Olá”（你好）！🗣✨

一同探索澳門🇲🇴獨有的多元文化與語言，是我們成長旅程中非常重要的一部分。❤️

The 23rd of April is World Book Day! 📚 To celebrate and support the Macao Just Read • National Reading Campaign Week 2026 initiated by IC Art 藝文棧, we hosted two special parent-child sessions this week.

It wasn't just about the books! Our little readers also explored:
🧩 Puzzles to sharpen their minds
🎨 Bookmark making to spark creativity
🌈 Sensory play to engage their senses

🧧A FESTIVAL OF LUCK & LOUD FUN! 🏮

Our crèche was buzzing with excitement today as our classrooms explored the vibrant traditions of the Chinese New Year! ✨
It was a busy morning of hands-on learning:

🖌️ Lucky Red Diamonds: Our little artists practiced their fine motor skills by decorating traditional diamond-shaped red papers. These symbols of "Good Fortune" are hung to bring happiness and prosperity to a home!

👣 Bubble Wrap Firecrackers: In another classroom, things got a little louder! The children created "explosive" firecracker paintings by stomping on bubble wrap. The "pop-pop-pop" sounds mimicked real firecrackers used to celebrate the new year, and the red paint art they created is stunning! 🎆

We love seeing our children explore culture through art and sensory play. Happy Chinese New Year! ❤️

At Creche Lara Reis, we do not conduct mock interview exams because we prioritize child well-being and authentic growth over performance pressure. Research shows that formal testing at this age creates undue stress and fails to reflect a child's true potential.

Instead, our daily programming is built on play-based learning—the very medium through which children explore and master the skills kindergarten assessors look for.

Through these daily activities, children naturally acquire the necessary vocabulary and language skills to express their thoughts and needs. By treating every child as a competent learner, we integrate social-emotional development, multi-lingual expression, and the ability to follow instructions into our natural routines.

This ensures your child develops the genuine confidence and cognitive flexibility needed for the March interviews, allowing them to participate with a relaxed, positive attitude rather than the anxiety of a coached environment.

Macau Grand Prix is here! To celebrate this event, one of the biggest in our city, we held our very own 🏁Baby Grand Prix🏁.
Children were able to feel the vibe of this racing event and they had a lot of fun ☺️

澳門格蘭披治大賽車來了！ 為了慶祝我們城市其中一個最大型的活動，托兒所舉辦了我們自己的🏁BABY GRAND PRIX🏁。
小朋友們能夠感受到這次賽車活動的氛圍。
大家都玩得很開心☺️

We held a Halloween Party to celebrate this day and with the help of the parents, children dressed up with different costumes👻🧙‍♀️.

We prepared several sensory games filled with Halloween motives, such as spiders🕷 and pumpkins🎃, for the little ones to explore and feel the vibe of this festival.

The children had a lot of fun! 😄

我們舉辦了萬聖節派對來慶祝這個節日，感謝家長們的打扮，小朋友們穿上了各式各樣的服裝👻🧙‍♀️。

我們準備了有蜘蛛🕷、南瓜🎃等充滿萬聖節主題的感官遊戲，讓小朋友們探索、感受這個節日的氣氛。
