We began the celebrations with a special opening ceremony, honoured by the presence of Principal Kou, Vice Principals Kuok and Chan, Director Fung, Director Chung, and our Primary English Panel Chairperson, Ms Josephine.
Following the ceremony, our Primary 2 students delighted everyone with a vibrant character parade, proudly showcasing their favourite storybook outfits. The creativity, colour and confidence on display were simply fantastic! 🌟📚
What a brilliant start to a fun-filled celebration — we can’t wait to see more amazing costumes in the days ahead! 👏🎭

Today, Noah Chan (P6A), Eugenio Tang (P6A), Arianna Ngan (P6D) and Quinlan Chan (P6E) made their way to our sister school, Shunde Essential Education and Innovation School, to take part in the English Student Literacy Showcase – English Debate Competition. 🎤✨
The motion? "Should children keep pets?"
Our team argued the opposition — and did us proud!
It was a thoroughly spirited debate, with both sides putting forward strong, well-considered arguments. Our students explored themes of responsibility and love, whilst also addressing the practical realities — care, cost and time. The discussion was balanced, mature and genuinely impressive.
What shone through most was the sportsmanship on display. Both teams demonstrated respect, confidence and courage throughout. They served as a reminder that debating is not simply about winning — it is about thinking critically, expressing ideas clearly and learning from one another.
A truly rewarding experience for all involved. We could not be prouder of the way our students represented the school, and we very much look forward to more collaborations of this kind in the future! 👏✨
