အားလုံးမင်္ဂလာပါ။
ယခုအပတ်တွင် ရင်းနှီးငွေ တစ်ခုချင်းစီ၏ အချိုးကျသော ကုမ္ပဏီ၏အရင်းအနှီး၏ ကုန်ကျစရိတ်၏ တွက်ချက်မှု ဖြစ်သော “ရင်းနှီးငွေ ပျမ်းမျှကုန်ကျစားရိတ် (WACC)” အကြောင်းကို လေ့လာသင်ယူ ကြကုန်အံ့။

ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခုသည် ငွေကြေးထောက်ပံ့မှုပေးရန် စီစဥ်သောအခါ အကျိုးစီးပွားပါ၀င်သောတာဝန်ဝတ္တရားများ နှင့်အစုရှယ်ယာရှင်များ၏ ရှယ်ယာတန်ဖိုး မှဟူ၍ နည်းလမ်းနှစ်မျိုးရှိသည်။ အောက်ဖော်ပြပါအတိုင်းအင်္ဂါရပ်နှစ်ခုကိုခွဲခြားကြည့်ကြပါစို့ -

၁။ စီးပွားရေး ကိုယ်စားလှယ်ကို ပြန်ပေးမည်ဟုကတိပေးသည်။
၂။ စီးပွားရေး ကိုယ်စားလှယ်နှင့်အကျိုးစီးပွားအတွက်သတ်မှတ်ရက်ကိုကတိပြုသည်။
၃။ ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခုဒေဝါလီခံသောအခါ ဦးစားပေးရှယ်ယာရှင်များ '' ရှယ်ယာထက်ပိုမိုမြင့်မားသည်။

အစုရှယ်ယာရှင်များ၏ရှယ်ယာ
၁။ စီးပွားရေး ကိုယ်စားလှယ်၏ပြန်ဆပ်ခြင်းနှင့်ခွဲဝေပေးငွေများအတွက် ကတိက၀တ်မရှိပါ။
၂။ ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခု ဒေဝါလီခံရသောအခါ ဦးစားပေးမှုသည် အကျိုးစီးပွားပါ၀င်သောတာဝန်ဝတ္တရားများ ထက်နိမ့်ကျသည်။

ထိုအချက်ကို အခြေခံ၍ စွန့်စားမှုများသည်အကျိုးစီးပွားပါ ၀ င်သောတာ ၀ န်ခံများနှင့်အစုရှယ်ယာရှင်များ၏အစုရှယ်ယာများအကြားခြားနားပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် WACC တွက်ချက်မှုအတွက်ပျမ်းမျှတွက်ချက်ရမည်။

WACC ၏ပုံသေနည်းမှာအောက်ပါအတိုင်းဖြစ်သည် -

• WACC = D/ D+E, x RD x (1 – Tax Rate) + E/D+E x RE

D. စုစုပေါင်း ကြွေးမြီအတိုးနှုန်း, E, စုစုပေါင်းရှယ်ယာရှင်များ၏ရှယ်ယာတန်ဖိုး, R. မျှော်လင့်ထားသည့် ပြန်လာနှုန်း

ဥပမာတစ်ခုကြည့်ရအောင်။ ကုမ္ပဏီ A တွင်အတိုးနှုန်း (၅) ရာခိုင်နှုန်းကျပ် (၃၀၀၀) ကျပ်နှင့်ရှယ်ယာတန်ဖိုး (၂၀၀၀) သိန်းကျော်ရှိသည်။ အစုရှယ်ယာရှင်များအနေဖြင့်မျှော်လင့်ထားသည့်အမြတ်ငွေသည် ၁၂.၅% ဖြစ်သည်။ အခွန်နှုန်းသည် ၂၅% ဖြစ်သည်။

• WACC = 3000/3000 + 2000 + 5% x (1- 0.25) + 2000/3000 + 2000 x 12.5%
= 2.25% + 5%
= 7.25%
ကုမ္ပဏီများသည်အနည်းဆုံး WACC မှတွက်ချက်သောအမြတ်အစွန်းကိုရည်ရွယ်သည်။ ထို့အပြင်ကုမ္ပဏီများသည်ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုအသစ်သည် WACC တန်ဖိုးထက်ကျော်လွန်ခြင်းရှိ / မရှိဆုံးဖြတ်ရန်လိုအပ်သည်။ WACC ကို 'အတားအဆီးနှုန်း' ဟုလည်းခေါ်နိုင်သည်။

Hello, everyone. This week, let’s learn about ‘Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC)’ which is a calculation of a company’s cost of capital in which each category of capital is proportionately weighted.

When a company arranges finance, there are two ways from Interest-Bearing Liabilities and from Shareholders’ Equity. Let’s sort out the two features as below:-

 Interest-bearing Liabilities:
1) Repayment of principal is promised
2) Due date for principal and interest is promised
3) When a company is bankrupt, priority is higher than shareholders’ equity
 Shareholders’ equity:
1) Repayment of principal and payment of dividend are not promised
2) When a company is bankrupt, priority is lower than Interest-bearing Liabilities

Judging from that, risks differ between Interest-bearing Liabilities and Shareholders’ Equity, therefore the expected rate of returns differ between creditor and shareholders. This is why weighted average must be made for WACC calculation.

The formula of WACC is as follows:
• WACC = D/ D+E, x RD x (1 – Tax Rate) + E/D+E x RE
D: Total Interest-bearing debt, E: Total Shareholders’ Equity, r : Expected Rate of Return

Let’s see an example. Company A has 3,000 lakh kyats of 5% Interest-bearing debt, and 2,000 lakh kyat worth of shares.
Expected rate of return from shareholders is 12.5%. Tax rate is 25%

• WACC = 3000/3000 + 2000 + 5% x (1- 0.25) + 2000/3000 + 2000 x 12.5%
= 2.25% + 5%
= 7.25%
WACC can reflect investor’s evaluation on the business. Companies need to aim at least the profitability calculated by WACC. Also, companies need to determine whether a new investment exceeds the WACC value or not. The WACC can be called ‘Hurdle Rate’ as well.
